Our special infrared drying systems are designed to provide more targeted drying performance, increase production speed and reduce your energy consumption in paper manufacturing processes. Talk to us!
The production of paper, cardboard, napkins or wallpaper as well as their further processing involves a wide variety of coating and drying processes. Apart from a stable web run, a gentle yet energy-efficient drying of the freshly coated paper products must be ensured at the same time, thus avoiding any potential damage or deposits. In the case of uneven material surfaces in particular, conventional drying systems often tend to reach their limits.
Our MICOR infrared drying systems, which are specially designed to meet your requirements, enable us to selectively control individual drying zones. This enables us not only to achieve a more targeted drying performance, but also to increase the production speed, boost output quantity and avoid unnecessary energy consumption. Product quality is also improved as a result of flexible adjustment of the moisture profile of paper or cardboard webs, for example.
Our short-wave IR drying systems reduce the temperature load on print substrate materials to a minimum while water and residual solvents evaporate, the dwell time in the dryer is shortened and the amount of primer energy required is significantly reduced.
We have been your partner for over 40 years when it comes to application-specific heating and drying systems with fully integrated engineering and services.
Benefit from our efficient MICOR *SWIR simulation facilities, with which we can simulate your real production conditions and thus develop the best drying solution for you based on specific operating tests. Contact us!
